Calcutation of kaon matrix elements in quenched domain - wall QCD with DBW 2 gauge action
We give a progress report of our new a −1 ≈ 3 GeV quenched calculation of kaon matrix elements with domain-wall fermion and DBW2 gauge action. Our smaller lattice spacing allows us to address the effect of charmed quark on the lattice. We show preliminary results of BK renormalized non-perturbatively and K → π matrix elements.

We present lattice calculations of kaon matrix elements with domain wall fermions. Using lattices with 6/g2 = 5.85, 6.0, and 6.3, we estimate BK(μ ≈ 2 GeV) = 0.628(47) in quenched QCD which is consistent with previous calculations. At 6/g2 = 6.0 and 5.85 we find the ratio fK/mρ in agreement with the experimental value, within errors. These results support expectations that O(a) errors are expon...
